As a media professional, you're certainly aware of how complex the world of media production and distribution has become. With the advent of multiple platforms, sources and distribution channels, that complexity has only intensified. Best-of-breed media processes demand rigorous support from ever-more intelligent infrastructures that can carry policy-prescribed operations based not only on an asset's metadata but the intrinsic characteristics of the asset itself.
In short, you need to smarten up your infrastructure. A media-aware infrastructure can simplify workflows and complement your human team, reducing costs and minimizing the possibility of errors.
Join us for this interactive, information-packed session that will cover the best practices you need to know to transform your infrastructure into a valuable "member" of your production team. It's presented by Luis E. Estrada, Solution Marketing Manager, Post-Production, at Harmonic, Inc. He brings more than 30 years of experience in large applications development, network architecture, project management and IT consulting for such major corporations as IBM, the Olympics and Asia/Pacific.
