New glass, new mounts, anamorphics, and a relay lens.
Band Pro had these Cine Xenars on display, next to the new Summicrons. Like the Zeiss Compact Primes, the Xenars are low-cost (by cine standards) cine lenses with differing maximum apertures. A set of five Xenars, from 25mm to 95mm, will set you back €15,000.

Loupes, lenses, and lights, oh my!
If one theme of NAB was 3D, the other was video-capable DSLRs. The danged things were everywhere; I saw more people shooting video with DSLRs (myself included) than with anything else.
There was plenty of new DSLR gear to look at, too: the usual suspects (Zacuto, Cinevate, Redrock Micro) has lots of mounting kits, rod systems, and support accessories, and they were joined by the likes of Ikan.

Just a few of the cameras shown at NAB 2010.
In between the DSLRs and the 3D rigs, there were a few “traditional” broadcast cameras (like the Ikegami V10 shown above), small-format camcorders, and digital cinema cameras to be seen. Here are some of them.

LED fresnels, dedolight innards, active diffusion, and a wet HMI.
LitePanels LED fresnels (yes, that’s Rodney Charters fiddling with the Sola6); why dedolights make light the way they do; zylight’s Active Diffusion panels, and K5600’s very damp HMI.
