Free Webcast Offers Tips to Maximize Your DAM with Search

PVC News Staff | 11/30

Learn from three experts on Tuesday, December 6, 2011

Pro Video Coalition and Createasphere present the free webcast “Search: The Key to Maximizing Your DAM” with product experts and end-users from Harris Corporation, A+E Networks and Nebraska Educational Telecommunications. This live webcast features a Q&A so that you can interact with the presenters.

Find out how better search technologies can improve the time it takes for you to locate digital assets, which can be essential to business productivity. Avoid costly situations such as when one organization spent over 100 hours across 4 people to locate 1 asset that was critical to the launch of a new product. This may sound outrageous, but many organizations face this challenge on a daily basis. And it can cost them millions of dollars.

Time spent searching a DAM is time not spent creating revenue. Worse yet, if the correct assets are not retrievable, recreating them costs even more.

How does this happen? In today’s information age, we are flooded with volumes of metadata about digital assets, but that doesn’t mean the metadata is always harnessed well.

In this webcast, our guest experts will explore:

  • the importance of metadata to search
  • search capabilities today
  • search algorithms
  • expectations of end users searching for content
  • secrets to search in your DAM

“Search: The Key to Maximizing Your DAM” is free and takes place on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11am PST. To register, visit: http://www.createasphere.com/webcasts.
