Westcott receives two Hot One Awards

Westcott is excited to announce it has received two Professional Photographer Hot One Awards for 2012. Westcott has been producing umbrellas since 1899 in both the golf and photo industries. It’s no wonder that their most recent umbrella addition was named as one of the winners of the Professional Photographer Hot One Awards for 2012. This 7’ Parabolic Umbrella launched in March 2011 featuring three different styles - Diffusion (#4632), White/Black (#4634) as well as Silver/Black (#4633). In the months to follow, Westcott added Parabolic Umbrella Kits that included a stand, mounting bracket and Parabolic Umbrella of the buyers’ choice. Each Parabolic Umbrella has a street price of $119.90. Each Parabolic Umbrella Kit has a street price of $149.90.

The Spiderlite® TD6 (#6220) launched in March 2011 as the industry’s most powerful CFL system on the market with the ability to house up to six 50-watt fluorescent lamps equaling 1,200 watts of daylight power. Because of its design, the Spiderlite® TD6 has become a staple in both the photo and video industry. The Spiderlite TD6 has a street price of $419.90.

Due to the success throughout 2011, Westcott decided to add another kit featuring both of these products together. This kit features one Spiderlite® TD6, 50-watt daylight fluorescent lamps, 7’ Silver Parabolic Umbrella as well as a Parabolic front diffusion panel. The Spiderlite® TD6 Parabolic Umbrella Kit has a street price of $499.90.
