Is it just me or did Adobe just layoff 600 employees? I think they should have offered one of those employees the opertunity to take this
job(s). I don’t gey it.

Some managers think that as long as there is a name in each box on the org chart, everything is fine.
Others know that there can be a 10,000:1 difference in results depending on which name is in the box.
Premiere Pro hasn’t exactly taken the world by storm.
The product needs some fresh blood, and while it is possible that this could come from some underutilized soul on the inside, it will probably take an outsider to give Adobe a PP to be proud of.

Well, their search is off to a good start!
Via the link posted in the article above:
Adobe has a new talent acquisition system. This system is optimized for performance on IE 6 or IE 7, running on Windows XP.
Unfortunately it is not supported on Firefox, nor is it supported on a Mac at this time.
So excuse me while I set up a new Windows partition on my Mac, install Windows XP (praying they can accept SP3), and scan through the archives for old copies of IE7 (or should I pick IE6 to be safe…?)
Oh, and they didn’t say anything about screen resolution.
Yikes!
Wonder if my 1920x1200 LCD will allow me to view their listings of available jobs?
Or should I “reset my screen resolution to 800x600 for best experience?”
Sigh.
