Panasonic AG-HPX170The Panasonic HPX170 is a P2-only update to the HVX200 (The HVX has been updated to the 200A and remains in the lineup). The HMC150, which records to AVCHD and lacks many of the 170’s advanced features, looks much the same.
HPX170 back panelThe HPX170 uses a six-pin 1394 connector; a new, small component connector; and has an HD-SDI output!
HPX170 LCD displaysBoth a waveform monitor and a vectorscope can be displayed on the 170’s LCD. Sweet: all cameras should be able to do this.

Angenieux Optimo RougeThis RED-only lens is a 30-80mm T2.8 zoom. $20,000.
