NAB 2011: Teradek Revolutionizes Live Broadcast

Clint Milby | 05/13

Landmark Broadcast at NAB Proves the Power of the Cube

We had a chance to visit with Rod Clark of Teradek who talked about the evolution of their products.

Many people are familiar with the Cube which allows shooters to broadcast a live feed from their camera to a video village using wifi.  Rod and crew took it to another level at NAB using that same technology to broadcast a live show from the floor of NAB to the world via Livestream.

Teradek now has a partnership with Livestream that allows you to seamlessly stream a live feed from anywhere in the world.  You don’t even have to have a wifi or wired connection, as the Teradek is compatible with 4G wireless net connection.

You can find out more about Teradek’s revolutionary products on their website at www.teradek.com and see their live show from NAB on their live stream channel:   www.livestream.com/teradek

NAB 2012: Trucolor Ohm Space Light

Bruce A Johnson | 04/20

400 watts of LED replaces a 6K?  Sounds good to me.

Next time you need to flood a room with soft light - in whatever color temperature - you should give the Ohm a look.

NAB 2012: EZ-Jib

Bruce A Johnson | 04/20

EZ to use, EZ on your wallet

I’ve always been intrigued by jib arms, and usually put off by their high prices.  EZ-FX might have a solution to that problem.
