Kessler and Zacuto are proud to present the second episode in our three part web series The Great Camera Shootout 2011.  According to the film’s director, Steve Weiss, they used a state of the art chart with twenty various grey patches.

As each camera shoots the chart, their footage is then analyzed by software to determine how the sensor converts the illumination into digital values.

From there, they stage a shoot a low light scene lit by Stephen Lighthill, ASC to show how noise can affect a shot in the real world. If you’re thinking about buying a new camera, or if you’re just curious how the top cameras perform, then you must check out Episode 2 of the Great Camera Shootout 2011 on the Zacuto Website at: www.zacuto.com
