The Terence & Philip Show

Terence Curren | 08/14

Philip Hodgetts and I bring our not-politically-correct opinions on Avid, Adobe, Apple, post production, production, distribution and pretty much anything we want to talk about.

I have been nagged to create and maintain a blog for years, but lets face it, I’m too lazy for that. So when Philip Hodgetts suggested we do a weekly show where we can talk about anything, I realized this was a great way to actually blog. And do it with someone who is smarter than I am. 4 episodes in and counting… check out The Terence & Philip Show.

In episode 1 we cover our visions of the future for Final Cut Pro and Media Composer. Episode 2 started with discussing the iPhone 4 as a production tool and moves into discussion on the future of the television model. In episode 3 I talk about the demise of Matchframe Video in Burbank, CA. and how it could have been avoided. Episode 4, which just posted yesterday, started off with a discussion on format wars and how to best deal with them. We also talk about the importance of metadata in the future of production, post and delivery.
