Sony announced their 2/3” camera at NAB.  The camera records at 50Mbs.  Avid just recently implemented support for 35Mbs.
Any rumblings from Avid on when they will support XDCAM HD at 50Mbs?
As far as I know currently the only NLE that supports 50Mbs is Sony’s Vegas.
