ASL Gear and a new affordable PL lens set for Red and other cine cameras
Air Sea Land was showing off their Rip Kit at NAB, a unique solution that solves connectivity and I/O issues with the Red One, and extends it’s capabilities with a remote breakout box for video and audio I/O. They also talked about their T-Bag splash bag. Very cool stuff. Also near the Air Sea Land booth at NAB was a company called UniQ that were showing off their brand new line of PL lenses. These hefty cinema lenses have been designed for digital cinema cameras, and come at an amazing price point…24K for a set of 6. It remains to be seen if they perform well in third-party testing, but based on what we saw at the show, color us impressed.

So we got the low-down on both products at the AJA booth, check it out.
