It’s that time of year again - FCPUG Supermeet 2009

Matt Jeppsen | 04/03

Don’t miss out on the event of the year for FCP editors!

One of the best things about attending NAB each year are the people you get to meet. The conversations and experiences shared make the trip to Vegas all the more worth it. And certainly one of the best places to mingle with like-minded folks is the FCPUG Supermeet. There is an awesome lineup of presenters at the event, and I encourage you to consider attending. It will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 5:00PM - 11:00PM at the Rio Hotel Amazon Ballroom. Registration is just $15.00, and that includes 2 raffle tickets. It’s one event that is at the top of my list again this year, and I look forward to seeing you there. Look for me, I’ll be the prematurely-greying guy in a FreshDV shirt. A short list of topics follows…

*Blackmagic Design presents Arthur C. Smith

*Author a Replicatable Blu-ray disc on a Mac

*Share the love: FCP and CS4 Production Premium

*JVC GY-HM700 with Craig Yanagi

*The very first customizable music plug-in for FCP

*Syncing the Impossible

*The Coca-Cola Pavilion and the Adidas Spiral Theater at the Beijing Olympics

*Indy workflow and Red

NAB 2012: Assorted Snapshots

Adam Wilt | 05/08

A few cool things I saw at the show that didn’t fit into any other articles.

NAB is too big a show in too short a time to see more than a fraction of it. I’ve covered a few things in some depth (as have other PVC folks), but there’s plenty more that slips by without proper coverage. Here, I have a few photos…
