While the reports are of interest to those of us who didn’t go to Las Vegas, the ads—literally every two minutes—drive the viewer crazy—especially if you watch a large number of these videos.
The ads are a battering ram—and would make me less likely to support the advertisers, even though I appreciate the reports.
Also, where are the pro companies—Aaton, Arri, RED? This seems heavily prosumer-biased.

We saw a guy with a Video Mic Flag at the show….a mic flag with Video Screens. Guy was wearing a hat with the same video screens as well. Does anyone know anything about this???

I like to see new innovations…
I think it’s just a matter of how you create the ads and what the venue is. Let’s face it the TV has always been and always will be a box to sell advertising on. Without Subway paying for that ad space, you aren’t going to see live football games on your HD Big Screen. I saw these Video Mic Flags before on the NBA finals….it was actually well done.
