Westfall Talks Technicolor Picture Styles, Firmware Updates and More…

I had a great opportunity to meet with Chuck Westfall of Canon USA. Although EOS didn’t have any new cameras to talk about, Chuck did elaborate on an exciting new picture style developed with Technicolor that will allow Canon EOS users to dial in a picture style to match other cameras on the market.

I love stacking cucolorii (plural of “cucoloris”) and I thought it was time to write an article about how this technique works and why I like it so much. I was a bit stretched for ideas that would illustrate this concept… and then an eclipse happened. Why that made a difference is a very interesting story…
