How Important is Resolution?
Adam Wilt | 07/08- 10:10 PM

It’s all about pixel counts… or is it?

SD, 408p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p… 2k, 4k, UDTV… it seems like the big push is to get ever-higher resolution. It’s true that given two pictures, identical in every other way, that the higher-res image will look better—if you’re close enough to see the difference. But it turns out that resolution isn’t as important as you might think.

New MacBook Pros Tomorrow? (UPDATED)
Scott Gentry | 06/09- 09:00 AM

With all of the iPhone 3G hype, could it be “one more thing”?

For a creative business the iPhone is almost a must-buy.  3G, video, enterprise and more.  Heck you can demo your demo reel on your phone!  But where’s the Mac love Steve?

Yesterday’s post:

I have absolutely no evidence, but boy was I and a large part of the MBP community disappointed in early spring when we didn’t get a new fresh MacBook Pro design.  I’m personally betting we’ll see a new design, with keyboard and touch similar to the MB Air.

Beyond iPhone, anyone have any other thoughts?
