Audio Editing in FCP X

I do a lot of audio editing for our Rippletraining.com tutorials. I used to use Soundtrack Pro, but I’ve found I can be much faster using the tools in Final Cut Pro X thanks to the magnetic timeline and auto-save features. On this week’s MacBreak Studio, I show host Steve Martin why I like using FCP X for editing audio so much.

I’d love to see how one might manage doing ADR work in FCPX. I’d much prefer the SoundTrack Pro method of take on top of, rather than after, each take, so one can select section. It’s a feature that could be added with Secondary Story Lines but otherwise you’re stuck editing voice linearly rather than in layers.
