WASHINGTON, DC - Rates at many official NAB Show hotels in Las Vegas are down 20 percent from 2009 and nearly 40 percent below 2008 rates during peak show dates between April 10 - 15, according to Expovision, NAB’s official housing-management partner. Shoulder night rates are also deeply discounted.
“Increasingly affordable hotel prices, combined with more flexible registration packages introduced this year, further bolster the NAB Show’s already strong value proposition,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown. “Hopefully these factors will allow even more people to experience the world’s greatest event for the digital media business.”
A sluggish economy, reduced tourism and higher inventory have enabled Las Vegas hotels to reduce rates, presenting travelers with exceptional savings even during peak convention dates.
Lowest rates are guaranteed when reservation are made via the NAB Show Web site for NAB Show dates at participating hotels. If a hotel lowers its rates or lower rates are found, reservations will automatically be adjusted and new confirmations generated.
