Live video producers now have resource to locate qualified live production and streaming experts
NewTek today introduced a certified operator program for live video producers who use TriCaster™. Live video production experts can qualify for the program by completing and passing the certified operator exam. The 75-question multiple choice and multiple response exam covers nine skill and knowledge areas. Certified operators will be listed on the NewTek website as live production and streaming professionals who meet the NewTek standards of excellence.

JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., today announced its ProHD Compact Studio solution, which configures the GY-HM150 ProHD handheld camcorder for a studio environment using two new accessories, the HZ-HM150VZR ProHD remote lens control and the DT-X71 ProHD monitor. GY-HMQ10 Records Four Times Resolution of 1080p to SDHC/SDXC Media Cards
JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., today announced the GY-HMQ10, the world’s first handheld 4K camcorder, which captures, records, and plays video images at four times the resolution of high definition television. Powered by JVC’s Falconbrid large-scale integration (LSI) chip for high-speed signal processing and a 1/2-inch CMOS imager with 8.3 million active pixels, it delivers real-time 3840x2160 footage at 24p, 50p, or 60p.

The winner will be announced at the ASC Awards celebration at the Hollywood and Highland Grand Ballroom on February 12.
