Audio-Technica, a leading innovator in transducer technology for over 45 years, expands its award-winning SpectraPulse® Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless microphone system with the mtu201 XLR Desk Stand Transmitter.

The mtu201 is optimized to work with any of Audio-Technica’s 29 Engineered Sound® gooseneck microphones with 3-pin XLRM-type output, ideal for such applications as podiums, boardroom tables and other situations where a gooseneck is preferred over a boundary-type mic. The mtu201 provides phantom power to the microphone and features a programmable touch-sensitive switch (for push-to-talk, push-to-mute or toggle operation) and 9-hour rechargeable battery life. A completely new application of UWB technology, SpectraPulse bypasses the increasingly congested RF environment to deliver clear, intelligible, secure audio without the performance and setup issues associated with conventional wireless systems.
