Randy Boyes | 11/20

Company founder exploits product features to teach professional production techniques

Hoffman Estates, IL – November 17, 2008 - Class on Demand, a provider of professional educational products for creative markets, announced today it has released the industry’s only advanced video-based training title for the award winning Pinnacle Studio software. The just-released Advanced Training for Pinnacle Studio title features veteran instructor Paul Holtz who also instructs the company’s earlier title Complete Training for Studio 11&12.

“Paul Holtz has once again answered the needs of our customers by showing them step-by-step how to get the most out of the Pinnacle Studio video editing software,” said Brendan Monahan, Director of Worldwide eCommerce Sales at Pinnacle Systems. “Now our customers can learn first hand how to quickly and easily up their level of creativity with the Advanced Training from Class on Demand.”

Advanced Training for Studio is a two hour DVD that exploits the powerful Pinnacle Studio 12 feature set. One feature of the software, called Themes, uses professionally designed templates to provide creative guidelines for video production. Holtz instructs users how to further customize these themes by creating elements that will make each video unique. Studio 12 now imports 32 bit Photoshop files, anther aspect of the training covers how to use these graphics together with their transparent shadows to create a whole new range of creative effects. Holtz also uses this powerful feature to create stunning transitions and graphical wipes often seen in high impact television programs and Hollywood movies. Additionally, Advanced Training for Pinnacle Studio guides users in utilizing this 32 bit graphic capability to create custom DVD menu buttons when authoring their DVD titles in Studio.

“Studio 12 is truly an amazing product” says Paul Holtz, founder and CEO of Class on Demand. “The new capabilities of this version put it in a class by itself, the more I use it the more I am impressed, our product will teach even the most accomplished Studio user new techniques to get even more out of their software.”
