Contour Design Releases Updated ShuttlePRO and ShuttleXpress Settings for Apple Final Cut Studio

Contour Design, a market leader in audio/video editing devices, has released a new ShuttlePRO and ShuttleXpress Mac driver with optimized settings for Apple Final Cut Studio. The driver includes settings for Apple Final Cut Pro 7, Apple Soundtrack Pro 3, Apple Motion 4, Apple DVD Studio Pro 4, and Apple Color 1.5. All-new settings for Adobe Lightroom and Media 100 Suite are also included.

ShuttlePRO V.2 is designed for ergonomic integrity and maximum productivity, allowing one-handed access to 15 fully-programmable buttons, a jog knob, and a spring loaded shuttle wheel. At the head of the ShuttlePRO are nine programmable buttons complete with crystal clear removable keycaps for labeling and ease of reference. The inner ring or ‘jog knob’ at the center of the ShuttlePRO rotates a full 360˚ to provide precise frame-by-frame control while the outer black ring or rubberized ‘shuttle wheel’ facilitates fast forward and rewind. The jog and shuttle can also be configured for many other purposes including scrolling, volume control, and sequencing.

Modeled after the award-winning ShuttlePRO, the ShuttleXpress offers a professional multimedia controller at an attractive price. Packed with five oversized buttons, a jog knob, and a shuttle wheel, the ShuttleXpress is a full multimedia control surface in a compact design. Use it alone or simultaneously with a ShuttlePRO for enhanced cooperative control.

The new Mac driver (v2.1.5) is immediately available for download from the Contour Design web site at http://retail.contourdesign.com/?/products/23. Contour Design continues to update their driver to ensure compatibility with all of the most current hardware and software.

ShuttlePRO V.2 and ShuttleXpress are available from Contour Design’s worldwide reseller channel for MSRPs of $109.95 USD and $59.95 USD, respectively.
