PVC News Staff | 11/20

Newest Effects Package Includes Over 5,000 Stunning High Definition Global Travel Effects and Transitions

proDAD GmbH, a world-class maker of video effects products, today announced the latest addition to its popular Adorage product line – Adorage Effects Package 11 – HD Global Travel & Flags FX.  As its name suggests, Adorage Effects Package 11 includes 5,000 global travel themed effects and transitions, including flags of the world, continents, images of countries, and combination images – all in stunning HD resolution.  The effects and transitions contained in Adorage Effects Package 11 are an easy way to bring local and international travel themes into video projects.  Editors working with SD footage can still take full advantage of the effects contained in Adorage Effects Package 11.  Rendering of the effects is up to 40% faster than other solutions, thanks to proDAD-designed codecs.

Adorage Effects Package 11 provides seamless plug-in support for Adobe® Premier/Pro/Elements, AVID® Liquid, Canopus® Edius/NEO, Corel/ULead® MediaStudio & VideoStudio Pro X2, Magix Video Deluxe 15, and Sony® Vegas/Vegas Pro NLE applications.  Adorage Effects Package 11 also includes a stand-alone application for using the included effects.  Already Unlocked versions of “Adorage for Pinnacle Studio” can also be enhanced with Effects Package 11 HD effects.

Adorage Effects Packages are a low cost way for video editors to add a wide range of high-quality effects and transitions to their video productions.  Adorage has been widely popular among hobbyist video editors for over 10 years due its ease of use and low cost and is now attractive to the professional video editing community for the same reasons.

“For almost 11 years, Adorage has delighted video editors desiring to add affordable high quality visual effects to their video,” said Andreas Huber, general manager of proDAD GmbH.  Adorage Effects Package 11 continues this tradition with global travel themes that include flags of the world, images of continents, and much more; all easily accessible from within most NLE packages. It’s no wonder that Adorage continues to win awards around the world.” Mr. Huber added.

Pricing & Availability

Adorage Effects Package 11 will be available starting in November for an MSRP of $99 as an electronic download directly from the proDAD.com website.  An introductory special of $79 will be offered through December 31, 2009.  Please visit http://www.prodad.com for full product information.

Adobe teases Prelude at the San Francisco Supermeet, FCPUG changes its name

Scott Simmons | 01/28

First bit of news I saw was that Final Cut Pro User Group (FCPUG) has decided to drop the Final Cut Pro designation from their name to become the Creative Pro User Group. Second was a sneak peek from Adobe about a new application called Prelude.
