TV One Releases Two New HDMI Up-Converters

PVC News Staff | 01/29

ERLANGER, KY, January 28, 2009—The latest video scalers added to TVOne-task’s inventory are the 1T-VS-622 and 1T-VS-624.

The 1T-VS-622 will convert either Composite or S-Video Standard Definition analog signals to an HDMI output at PC, SD or HD resolutions. In addition, externally available audio can be embedded into the output HDMI signal via separate Toslink and Analog Stereo inputs. Output audio, embedded in the HDMI signal, is separately available as Toslink and Analog Stereo outputs providing maximum flexibility for systems integration.

The 1T-VS-624 will convert a wide variety of standard PC (RGB) signals between VGA and WUXGA to a standard HDMI output at PC, SD or HD resolutions. In addition, externally available audio can be embedded into the output HDMI signal via separate Toslink and Analog Stereo inputs. Output audio, embedded in the HDMI signal, is separately available as Toslink and Analog Stereo outputs providing maximum flexibility for systems integration.

Both units are HDCP complaint and DVI compatible and are ideal for situations where video and PC signals must be viewed on an HDMI display. The resolution of the attached display is automatically discovered by the unit. A comprehensive OSD menu allows manual selection of output resolution, adjustments of picture quality and audio input selection.

Both scalers have a locking DC power connector that is used for security. The 1T-VS-622 and 1T-VS-624 each have a suggested retail price of $395 and are shipping now.
