Adobe and Avatar- How it Was Made Video
Scott Gentry | 12/09
Adobe is everywhere!
I wasn’t really aware of Adobe’s involvement in Avatar until just today. If you hit up their main Creative Suite Page, you’ll see Avatar as a highlight. I’m suggesting you check it out, because there’s a really cool ‘how it was made” video that I just can’t get on this site, and apparently needs to live on the Adobe site. It’s worthy of a click. Sure it’s marketing heavy, but there’s a video with Producer John Landau narrating, and even a down-loadable interactive Air trailer of Avatar.
I really wish I could send a direct link, or simply display the video here. Short of that, click here, then in the main header with the Avatar image, click on “See How it Was Made”.

First bit of news I saw was that Final Cut Pro User Group (FCPUG) has decided to drop the Final Cut Pro designation from their name to become the Creative Pro User Group. Second was a sneak peek from Adobe about a new application called Prelude.
