iMovie for iPad 2 and iOS 4.3

Scott Gentry | 03/02

Is it any surprise that with on board cameras, comes iMovie?

Here’s a few more tidbits from today’s announcements:

The new iPad will use the A5 chip and sport a dual-core processor, up to 2x faster, and up to 9x faster graphics.  Should be a boon for gaming. $849 WiFi and 3G 64GB version.

Other guesses were also correct with dual cameras (front and back), curved rear design and 33% thinner.  In fact it’s thinner than the iPhone 4!  Wow!  Also now in white!

HDMI Video out via $39 cable.  FaceTime and PhotoBooth also on board.  Apple is also introducing a new iPad 2 cover that works via magnets.  Comes in lots of colors, looks interesting.

iMovie for iPad 2 and iOS 4.3. $4.99 on March 11.

Also - Garageband for iOS 4.3 and iPad 2 also $4.99 on the 11th.  Looks killer!

The most interesting tid-bit to come out of the whole Final Cut…

FCP X, Game Changer or iMovie Pro?

Terence Curren | 04/16

Is this just a case of “fanboys” going overboard, or is this the next big thing in post?
