Here’s a free video tutorial that shows you how to quickly create an engaging animation by arranging the layers of a Photoshop file in 3D space in Motion, and then flying a camera through them. To see it, click here.
OMG!—I never knew you could command-click and scale. This is the best thing I’ve heard of in ages.
This will easily save me 30min a day. I’ve always moved it, then scaled and repositioned it.
Thanks!

Seriously, Mark, thanks for all you make available to us. I’ve been learning Motion for about 6 months now, and i’d be dead in the water without all the tips and tricks you make available!
Command Drag to scale… unbelievable… brilliant.
Thanks again, Mark, for making this available. Keep em’ coming

One thing that I failed to mention in the tutorial: before spreading out the layers, for any layers that are not the full size of the comp, you should first move their anchor points to the center of the comp. That way they will scale and move correctly when you do the command-drag thing.
