Sorry you don’t find PVC useful Martijn. There is a lot of Adobe coverage here yes but the site isn’t “brought” to you by Adobe, but they do have a vendor channel. Adobe is making great in-roads in post so there are a lot of independent bloggers on here talking about it. I use Adobe along with Avid and Apple.

@lin2log:

“Wow… you killed it. Really?

Now if THAT doesn’t speak volumes, I don’t know what does.”

Uhhh yea, as I said on your other comment on the other post your registration link is going back to porn and spam. what do you expect us to do? Even if it’s a real comment it shows up as spam. I mean really ... a porn link?

Posted by Scott Simmons  on  06/27  at  07:12 AM

SPAM??! LOL… yeah sure. You’ve looked the word up, right?

Posted by lin2log  on  06/27  at  07:28 AM

Scientology, nice.

Okay… no porn, no “spam”...
********
@Martin
LOL… yeah!

And then top it off with some coy BS: “No matter what your Final Cut Pro X opinion you gotta admit that this is a nice little piece.”

Uh-huh. Sure. If you’re into nothing more than a tired, cutsie, elaborate visualization of the same pathetic hubris that has filled the net the last few days from the whiny “pros” that, as always, are scared shitless of ANY change to their warm and fuzzy dogma. Let alone dare even wait more than so much as a weekend before expending THAT amount of energy on such a non-topic. Seriously pathetic. Acting like screaming four year olds because Apple DARES to not cater to THEIR and *ONLY THEIR* oh-so-superior needs, but rather is able to recognize a much grander scale of need.

Yeah. I’m sure Apple is DOUBLE-bummed they’re losing you NOW! grin)))

What?? They’re a BUSINESS??!! Oh yeah… duuuuh… So they’re first catering to a crowd that is in fact *significant* and plan to improve on “pro” features over time? Well gee, how stupid is THAT?! And that after you made it *mandatory* to buy FCP X we…. what?... wait…. you’re saying… you didn’t? Urm… wow, pie in MY face, eh??

Christ, Apple, didn’t you learn ANYTHING from what people in enterprise screamed (“USELESS!!”... sound familiar?) the first days and months of the iPhone?! What Windows users have been saying from DAY ONE how much of a MORON you’d have to be to bet on A MAC and some teeny company with no market share??! Really?? You never learned from how visionary they w…. they were… so… um… oh shit… waaaaaiit a second… *splat* 2nd pie.

This is gettin messy.

Yeah, you (now) faux FCPlers that were blathering the *exact same nonsense* from the seat of your overpriced Avid when FCP first came out, just keep on giggling into your little narrow-minded fists… he who laughs last… you can quote me.
