Event Manger X for Final Cut Pro X

Managing events and projects in Final Cut Pro X can be a little tricky. By default, Final Cut Pro loads all your events and projects on launch. While you can organize and hide events by hard drive, and you can create folders for your projects, Final Cut still needs to load all those events and projects. And while it may be handy to have everything you've ever imported or edited available all the time, sometimes I prefer to limit what I (or clients) can see.

Now it's certainly possible to hide events and projects from Final Cut Pro X simply by moving them to different folders in the Finder - which is frankly the way that I had been doing it for quite awhile. But Event Manager X makes that process so much faster and easier. In this week's episode of MacBreak Studio, I show Steve Martin from Ripple Training how to use this very handy application.

By the way, you don't need to quit Final Cut Pro X to use Event Manager X as I state in the video!
