Adobe After Effects June 2024 release (version 24.5)

The current version of Adobe After Effects is June 2024 release (version 24.5); Premiere Pro 24.5 was also released.  Beta features are listed in Adobe Help. You might also check out the latest fixes, performance improvements, and more.

There’s a lot in the 24.5 update, which includes the official release of the new cinematic 3D compositing toolset.

• Support for embedded animation in 3D models
• Shadow catchers and color shadows in Advanced 3D
• Depth data extraction and 3D Channel effects for Advanced 3D
• Camera and Light layer options in the Properties panel
• OBJ and Adobe Stock import from CC Libraries
• 33 useful new presets

Still in beta:

• Scripting hooks for font replacement
• New After Effects Spectrum User Interface
