The push for the next wave of the semantic web seems to be gaining momentum, and with the launch of Mozila’s Firefox3 the importance of good metadata for digital asset structures become paramont, coupled with strong ontologies, robust vocabularies etc. So, can DAM pull itself out of the shadow of content management and come into its own for the enterprise and beyond?
