On this weeks episode of the Art of the Frame podcast host Matt Jeppsen talks with cinematographer Mike Gomes & editor Jon Connor about “New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization.” “New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization” is a program filmed in June 2018 at the Acropolis in Greece that showcases the core of the American values in literature and music and featured monologues, singing, and plenty of comedy from Bill Murray while a talented trio of musicians backed him up. Directed by Andrew Muscato, the documentary features Vanessa Perez on the piano, Jan Vogler on cello, and violinist Mira Wang. The show blends Walt Whitman, George Gershwin, Van Morrison, Leonard Bernstein and Bach to name a few. You can listen to the podcast episode below:
