At Cinegear 2012, we had an opportunity to visit with Wes Philips of SmallHD. Beyond their very popular, DP4, DP4EVF and the DP6, Wes gave us a peek at the highly anticipated DP7.
The DP7 will be available in two versions, the DP7 OLED and the DP7 High-Bright. Both units will be able to convert to variety of signals at the same time including:
The DP7’s ability to convert and split an incoming signal internally eliminates the need for any additional signal converters and their accompanying nest of wires.
Dual-Camera Monitoring allows you to input two cameras and view both simultaneously by using picture in picture feature.
The DP7 will accept separate audio and video signals and mix down these streams into one signal for monitoring audio from an outside source.
