Red Giant has released a new effect plug-in called Cosmo for doing cosmetic retouches, a Grinder 1.5 upgrade, and a major update to Magic Bullet Looks. All are part of Magic Bullet Suite 11, which now includes includes Looks 2, Colorista II, Mojo, Cosmo, PhotoLooks, Denoiser, Grinder, Frames, and Instant HD (includes Resizer).
Cosmo includes a skin range visualizer with detail control that helps you smooth skin tones, soften problem areas, fixes blemishes, and control skin color with simple sliders starting at carefully chosen default settings for immediate results.
Stu Maschwitz, the creator of Magic Bullet, explains some of the new features in his new blog post, Magic Bullet Suite 11. The UI of Looks was redesigned by Mark Coleran; the software now includes support for popular video output boards, new scopes, creative tools such as Lens Distortion, Haze/Flare, and Cosmo controls. Here’s video summaries of Cosmo and Looks 2, along with a later addition with Aharon Rabinowitz messing around in MB Looks 2.:
