Although both programs are similar and share the same base engine, there are substantial differences between the Panotour version, selling for € 99 (excluding taxes), and the Panotour Pro 2.0, a professional tool that costs € 399 (excluding taxes). Panotour Pro 2.0 is based on the latest technologies to offer top quality. It offers powerful widgets to let you integrate a variety of features and custom objects into your virtual tours. Not only visually appealing, Panotour Pro 2.0 has been designed following the users’ requests to offer an ergonomic interface. Create incredible virtual tours with no need of programming skills.
The options in the new professional program make for a faster and easier workflow. The user can add a photo gallery, video content coming from Youtube, Dailymotion or Vimeo, a PDF document, a link to an external website adding value and customization for each virtual tour created. Panotour Pro even works with Livepano, a paid add-on to merge videos with the still photographic content of the virtual tours to integrate for instance a restaurant owner greeting its customers.
The program includes multiple widgets, graphical themes, display modules (menu with thumbnails, categories) and sharing buttons for social networks, making it simpler to create virtual tours and finally, the virtual tours generated can be displayed using HTML 5 on all devices (computers, tablets, smartphones) responding to changing standards of the web.
Panotour Pro 2 interface is straight forward and easy to use. Divided in three main sections — Tour, Style, Build — it lets you organize, customize and export your virtual tour projects with ease. Create groups of panoramas, add hotspots and links, embed videos, sounds and any type of document (including PDF, 3D objects, texts, photos, websites)… Click on the Style tab and choose your navigation theme. To customize your tour, add some of the many modules offered or create and add your own.
For professsional users Kolor offers also Livepano, a paid module to Panotour Pro that allows to include video content that perfectly fits your virtual tour: the explanations of a guide in a museum virtual tour, a shopkeeper presenting his products, a chimney fire… The new Livepano addon for Panotour Pro invites you to develop your imagination and create exceptional virtual tours. The programs are available for Windows 8 and Mac OS X Mountain Lion, in 7 languages. Depending on the date purchase of a previous versions, some users can upgrade for free.
