Unless you’ve lived under a rock for the past 20 years, you use computers. And if you’re like most of us, you’ve replaced, upgraded or just added new hard drives. And you’ve kept the old ones. There’s stuff on there you’re using for a backup, archiving specific projects, or just saving it. How do you keep those drives safe and organized?
CRU-Dataport has a great solution: The Drive Box. They sent me a couple to try out, and they are fantastic!
They’re anti-static and have rubber feet inside for a snug fit, plus labels to make them easy to grab at-a-glance. Not much else to say, other than they work and they’re better than leaving your drives out on a shelf collecting dust or stacked in a box somewhere getting crushed, ultimately rendering the drives useless. Great protection for just a couple of bucks. I’m liking them for my archive, for sure.
They come in 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drive sizes, and you can buy them one-at-a-time or in ten-packs. They can even be custom printed.
