Inghams has today launched its new website packed full of information and stunning imagery showcasing an extensive range of winter and summer destinations with five dedicated sections including Ski, Lakes & Mountains, Villas, Spa and Santa breaks (http://www.inghams.co.uk/) . With a brand new look and feel, the website features all the latest resort information and is easy to navigate helping holidaymakers find the perfect winter or summer holiday.
Today’s unveiling marks the first stage in a series of web developments which will greatly improve the functionality of the site and make booking an Inghams holiday an interactive and exciting experience.
Inghams reappointed Heard Creative, the brand and web design agency who worked with Inghams three years ago on a rebranding project. Heard was tasked with designing the new look and feel of the website and simplifying the navigation of the site as well as providing the tools for e-marketing.
Heard has created a fresh look and feel for the Inghams website with a design application which accommodates both winter and summer holiday destinations. Working closely with Inghams, Heard has helped to dramatically improve the online experience for customers by streamlining the navigation of the site. This enables customers to find out what’s on in nearby towns all within one page and through an intuitive tabbed system.
Inghams also appointed technology partner VYRE to help develop its new website online. VYRE worked with Inghams during the website redesign to build a content management system and generate and publish website content.
The VYRE Unify single platform approach provides an end-to-end solution that automates multiple marketing processes, allowing Inghams to build the next generation website, streamline the content contribution process, manage rich media and automate the production of brochures with a single solution.
Key system capabilities, such as the dynamic publishing of related content, and inbuilt social features have also been very important in the development of the Inghams website. VYRE Unify’s social networking features will increase Inghams interaction with its online customers and also help Inghams build an internal community, with all these features being implemented on the new Inghams Intranet. VYRE Unify’s rich media capabilities offer an improved user experience, as the inbuilt transformation features will enable Inghams to add more video and rich media content with ease with the second stage of launch.
