We are thrilled to announce that Premiere Clip 2.0 is now available for download in the App Store. The new release of Premiere Clip includes a number of enhancements to make video editing on the move easier, faster and more fun. Check out all that’s new in the latest release!
New and improved features in Premiere Clip 2.0
- Automatic video creation
- Sync to Music
- Lightroom on Mobile integration
- Improved editing and a new streamlined user interface
Automatic video creation
When creating a new project, you will now have the option for automatic video creation. Select your photos and videos and Premiere Clip will automatically create a video synced to music. You can pick your own soundtrack, choose a different soundtrack start point, adjust the pace of transitions, or re-arrange media, so that in minutes, you have something to share.
For more customization, take your project into the freeform editor where you’ll have all of the same powerful editing features at your fingertips, including trimming, applying custom Looks, smart audio effects, and more.
Sync to Music
Long gone are the days where you’ll have to spend hours editing videos to music. Now you can save time with a new sync to music feature that lets you cut to music like a pro. This feature lets you trim your clips to soundtrack markers that are placed precisely on the beats.
Note: When you send your Premiere Clip project to Premiere Pro on your computer, the beat markers will be displayed on your audio track so you can continue editing to music.
Lightroom on Mobile integration
Take your Lightroom collections and turn them into amazing video stories that you’re proud to share with family and friends. With one tap, send photo collections directly from Lightroom on Mobile to Premiere Clip to automatically create a video synced to music.
Improved editing and a new streamlined user interface
Edit faster with a better, streamlined interface. Here’s a look at new and improved editing features in Clip:
Media Picker: Choosing media on your device is now easier. When selecting media on your iPhone or iPad, you now have the ability to see albums that include both photos and videos. You no longer have to select photos and videos separately and your media will be added in the order you choose, so you can save time re-arranging your sequence.
Grid View: Your sequence now displays as a thumbnail grid, making it easier to browse, re-arrange, and select the shots you want.
Choose Soundtrack Start Position: Open the Soundtrack panel, add a soundtrack, and slide the waveform to your desired start point. Tap the “replay” button on the preview monitor to hear how the soundtrack changes apply to your video.
Photo Motion: Add visual interest to static images. Turning this option “On” in the Project Settings panel will apply a slow, subtle zoom.
Two-Finger Drag: Place and hold two fingers on the preview screen and slide left or right to make quick slide edits. What’s a slide edit? An edit that maintains the duration, but allows you to choose a different portion within your video clip. Try it out in this release!
