It’s time, once again, for another “Let’s Edit” tutorial, and we’re taking the next logical step in learning Media Composer, and that’s launching the application, and understanding the Project Selection/Creation window. This window has changed substantially since the 2020.4 update. You now get not only a new interface, but more information to help you sort through your projects. In this lesson, we’ll cover how to not only create standard projects (project defaults), but also how to set up custom frame sizes for projects, as well as important things you need to consider, before creating your project, so you don’t run into any problem down the road.
