When it comes to attempting to track down free resources, especially for Avid Media Composer editors, the pickens can be very, very slim. Any element, or piece of stock footage you might be able to find will either be not good enough quality, or watermarked, or you might not be sure if it’s actually royalty free or not. That means it stays on the cutting room floor. So what do we as Avid Editors do to find good, FREE stylistic elements to use in our productions? That’s where Rampant Design Tools has filled a great void. In a way to expose more editors to their wide product line, they have offered a few elements from almost every product in their library as high resolution ProRes files available for download absolutely free.
