The new 512GB Lexar High-Performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I card represents a memory solution for high-end Android smartphones, so you never run out of space when filming.
Smartphones may well be the first and foremost destination to a card like the 512GB Lexar High-Performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I, but they can also be used elsewhere, on anything from a sports camcorder or action camera to a drone. Handling small microSD cards is probably something you prefer to stay away from, but using and adapter allows you to use these fast and large cards with other equipment too, even a DSLR or mirrorless with an SD slot. The card even comes with an SD adapter, making it easy to transfer files between your devices… or use with an SD slot camera.
Never run out of space
The card meets the Application Performance Class 2 (A2) requirements from the latest SD Association’s 6.0 specifications. A2 allows app-intensive users to experience higher minimum random write speed of 2000 IOPS and minimum read speed of 4000 IOPS (requires an Android 6.0 or later with Adoptable storage enabled device and microSD slot). This ensures blazing speed to run and store apps directly on the A2 memory cards using Android Adoptable storage enabled devices. A2 cards are identified with the App Performance Class symbol making it easy to recognize and maximize the devices potential.
Lexar’s new card is the largest capacity A2 microSD card on the market, meaning you’ll never – well, almost – run out of space when shooting. With 512GB, there is ample room to store continuous memories. The High-Performance 633x microSD are speed rated at Class 10, and leverage UHS-I technology to deliver a transfer speed up to 100MB/s (633x). One note: these numbers are based on internal testing, and while read transfer goes up to 100MB/s, write speeds are lower, and the actual performance may vary.

Still, these high-capacity cards give you the speed and space you need to capture, transfer, and share more adventures on the go; whether you’re shooting the action with your sports camcorder or an aerial camera, you can quickly capture, playback, and transfer a large amount of the highest quality 1080p full-HD, 3D, and 4K video.
“As smartphones integrate more and more into our busy lives, we’re relying on them to do more than ever. Having the world’s largest A2 microSD card will aptly meet the demands of even the most intense power user with its high-performance and high-storage capacities. We’re proud to be part of the digital revolution in continuing to advance the trusted format,” said Joel Boquiren, Director of Global Marketing.
Lexar will be exhibiting the new product at this year’s PhotoPlus Expo held at Javits Convention Center in New York City, New York, from October 25th – 27th. The 512GB Lexar High-Performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I card is available late-October at a suggested price of $299.99.
