<!– –>One of the most recent additions to New York City’s famed Museum Mile, the Neue Galerie New York is a museum devoted to early twentieth-century German and Austrian art and design. With the museum’s sustained success has come new technology challenges: Museum staff needs an ability to track and manage all the art in their collection, including traveling art pieces. They also have several business divisions that require cohesive data management and presentation for their Book Store inventory system, Design Shop inventory, and product development. Lastly, staff was wrestling with maintaining an old Flash-based website that was costly to update and was not integrated with any of their other business needs or systems.
