Modern Family’s “Connection Lost” Episode Workflow Discussion
ABC’s Modern Family pushed the boundaries of picture editing using Apple devices with their ground breaking episode “Connection Lost.” The episode was shot with and utilized iPhones, iPads and Facetime integrating it all on one of the character’s (Claire’s) laptop screen. Tony Orcena, the editor of that episode, will detail the technical workflow used and the unique challenges and creative solutions that were employed to make the show possible at the upcoming LAPPG April 29th meeting.
