Adobe Creative Suite 3 Connector
NetXposure is the first Digital Asset Management system to ship a direct connector between the DAM repository and Creative Suite 3 – allowing users to access and interact with NetXposure from within their production applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and others.
BRIDGE
The Connector augments Adobe Bridge, making it more than just a local media manager – it seamlessly provides dynamic browsing of your NetXposure assets. Your NetXposure repository appears as just another project to Creative Suite application users. Creative Suite 3 users can use familiar tools for interacting with the DAM repository without ever leaving their productions tools; there is no need to open a secondary browser.
WORK IN PROGRESS
The Adobe Creative Suite 3 Connector allows your production team to take advantage of the Work-in-Progress functionality of Version Cue. Utilize the Version Cue Server as a collaboration hub for all in-production files – and then simply archive completed files into NetXposure.
BROWSE
Browse NetXposure directly from Adobe Bridge. Navigate through folders that mirror your repository category structure. Assets appear in Bridge just as if they were residing on the local desktop. All Bridge views and functions are readily available so that users can quickly find the files they are after.
SEARCH
Search the repository just as you would from NetXposure. Search based on the metadata, including: dates, file sizes, names, and any custom attribute fields. All configured NetXposure permissions are respected; so you can be assured that your production staff only finds appropriate assets.
DRAG-AND-DROP IMPORTING
Easy importing! Simply drag-and-drop your files into the Bridge workspace to initiate the importation of new assets into NetXposure. Additionally, you can save new assets from the point applications themselves simply by accessing the Adobe dialogs.
CHECK-IN/OUT VERSIONING
Effortlessly engage your asset lifecycle production at any point. Check out an asset; alter it, and check it back in – all from within Creative Suites. No need to be encumbered with having to save a copy to the Desktop, and access the repository within a separate application.
METADATA
View and edit asset metadata right from within Bridge. XMP data is available, as well as all custom attribute fields from NetXposure.
