New SLR Magic lenses at Cine Gear Expo

The two new CINE lenses from SLR Magic, with focal lengths of 35 and 75mm, were officially introduced during the 2016 edition of Cine Gear Expo, in Los Angeles.

The SLR Magic CINE family of lenses continues to grow. Now the Sony E-mount line up gains two new references, which will be available from authorized SLR Magic dealers by August, 2016. The E-mount is a lens mount used by Sony, initially on their NEX mirrorless cameras and camcorders and now extended to full-frame models as the Sony α7 and Sony α7R.

According to the information provided by SLR Magic, the field of view of the SLR Magic CINE 35mm F1.2 and SLR Magic CINE 75mm F1.4 opens up many new creative composition opportunities, particularly in the fields of portrait, interior, architectural and landscape cinematography and photography. The company says state it continues to “place our highest priority in the development on our lenses to fulfill the demands of professional cinematographers and photographers. The design and build of the the SLR Magic CINE 35mm F1.2 and SLR Magic CINE 75mm F1.4 is solid and reliable.”

The SLR Magic CINE 35mm F1.2 and the SLR Magic CINE 75mm F1.4 have a suggested price of $499 and will, as mentioned above, be available in August. To see the lenses, visit ATOMOS booth (Stage 16) during Cine Gear Expo, at the Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The show ends today.
