AllDigital offers software and online services that enable the secure transport of digital content to IP-enabled devices including mobile computing devices, the desktop computer, and digital televisions (“10-foot” devices). Our business primarily targets content owners that have a need to distribute their media assets and online services to a highly fragmented market of IP-enabled devices, but lack the technical expertise and/or business intelligence to match their content to the appropriate devices.
AllDigital Announces Media i/o – Nonlinear Data Management

Over the past 12–18 months, a number of “technology giants” have launched successful new services, strategies, and business models (collectively, “Digital Services”) targeting mobile, desktop, and digital televisions (“Devices”). Many of these new and highly lucrative business models are based on a client-side application (“App”) that runs on a Device connected to a Digital Service.
Media and entertainment companies, hundreds of media brands, thousands of enterprises, government agencies, and entrepreneurs are actively developing or planning Apps for Digital Services. Juniper Research has stated that mobile App store downloads will reach 25 billion by 2015. There will be an estimated 375 million Devices in the U.S. in 2013, powering billions in Digital Service revenue.
As connected devices (such as Apple’s iPhone) have reached tens of millions of consumers, many of these devices now act as the point of origin for rich media content. Developers of Digital Services and Apps are now thinking of data origin that is bi-directional.
Prior to Media i/o, legacy cloud services were designed to optimize the transport of data in one direction, and do not address the complexities of pairing a Digital Service to a Device.
Addressing this emerging and significant paradigm shift, AllDigital has designed a proprietary, non-linear service platform (branded as Media i/o).
Key features of Media i/o include : Origin application management, data storage, entitlement including PCI-compliant payment processor support, security, reporting/analytics, quality of service monitoring (“QoS”) and 24/7 technical support. Media i/o has unique functionality that supports version control of code bases and updating/maintenance on Apps deployed on Devices such as iPhone/iPad, Android, HTML 5.0 / desktop, etc.
