Let me start with a true confession: I'm not a gamer. Not sure why not — I played board games as a kid, especially Scrabble. I became fascinated with the rise of video games as part of my professional life in the 90's, certainly recognizing the creative and economic impact of ever-more-complex interactive entertainment. But to sit down with a game controller and hunt, kill, click — nope, give me a novel.

That said, there's a new frontier of games that has me fascinated, propelled by the media frenzy over Google Glass. Finally, so-called 'virtual reality' is coming to the masses.
