FCPWORKS has taken a different approach than many at NAB 2014. They’ve chosen to setup a demo suite off-site of the busy show floor so those curious about Final Cut Pro X and how they are integrating Apple’s NLE into a number of different workflows can have a much more quiet, personal demo. PVC took a tour of all the different stations set up by FCPWORKS that includes storage, digital asset management, and many different types of workflows. It was quite interesting to see the many different solutions from on-set logging via Lumberjack to the capture of 8 streams of live video with Softron to a very cool DIT station.
