Search less understand more

At evri, we’re rewiring the web.

Using semantic understanding of content, evri is building the data graph of the web. We’ll use this to create interesting and meaningful connections without having to search. In fact, we think people should search less, and understand more. We’re still building our first products, but contact us if you want to be kept up to date with what we’re doing. And, if you want to help change the way we look at the web,

Based in Seattle, WA, evri is a team of superstar engineers and product developers with deep expertise in natural language processing, machine learning, and most importantly, building great products. Located in the historic Pioneer Square area of downtown Seattle, we are building a team passionate about innovation, great user experiences and having fun.

The company is led by CEO Neil Roseman. Prior to joining evri, Neil spent 9 1/2 years at Amazon.com (1998 – 2007), most as a Vice President of Technology. Most recently Neil was responsible for Amazon.com’s Digital Media Technologies and Amazon’s Global Subscriptions Platform. In this role Neil was responsible for product and software development for efforts such Search Inside the Book , Amazon Unbox Digital Video, and the recently launched Amazon MP3 service. The Subscriptions Platform, which Neil designed and built with a small team, is used globally by Amazon Prime, Amazon DVD Rental (in the UK and Germany) and other Amazon.com services. Prior to that Neil was responsible for many of Amazon’s most successful product launches, including Music and DVD stores, Marketplace (Amazon’s 3rd-party business), Amazon China, and the initial Amazon Web Services product.

Before joining Amazon.com, Neil was at pioneering internet music ecommerce startup Music Boulevard. And before Music Boulevard Neil was the Senior Engineer at BIOSIS (http://www.biosis.org/, now part of Thompson Scientific) which indexes and provides search tools for information in Biology and the Life Sciences.
