StandPLUS, the Light edition

StandPLUS, one of different products edelkrone had to show at NAB 2016, is a complete new camera positioning solution available this August. In September edelkrone will have a Light version of the same product.

Introducing a whole new concept to video and photography, the accessory is a new take on the classic tripods. Thanks to its design, you can adjust your camera’s height and position in an instant. StandPLUS folds out and folds down in less than 5 seconds and is easy to carry around with its handle. Contrary to the classic tripods, it has no knobs or buttons to tighten or adjust. According to Edelkrone, “StandPLUS delivers never before seen convenience to any indoor static shot.”

Able to go as high as 64 inches (162,6 cm) and as low as 28.1 inches (71.6 cm) the StandPLUS is ideal for lightweight cameras and DSLRs not exceeding its total carrying capacity. Designed to withstand the most demanding production environments, the StandPLUS has dual bearings on all 3 wheels, to deliver optimum durability on all flat surfaces.

The “fastest and most flexible on ground camera positioning solution for solo videographers”, as edelkrone presents it, the StandPLUS has a weight of 12.7 lb (5.8 kg) a carrying capacity up to 6 lb (2.72 kg) and a price of € 699 (excluding taxes). The new StandPLUS Light has a weight of 10.5 lb (4.8 kg) a carrying capacity up to 5 lb (2.26 kg) and a price of €449. It will be available next September.
