In the digital asset management (DAM) space, we recently encounteredCMS Watch, which publishes comparative product reports in this field. The information online promoting the sales of its report –The Digital & Media Asset Management Report– includes a list of 18 DAM solutions. The list is helpful in providing a DAM marketplace snapshot along a spectrum from “enterprise” class solutions to “lightweight” options. The list carries the CMS caveat that “these are not the ‘best’ DAM tools, simply — in our judgment — the most significant today.”
